General Terms

By accessing and using Local AI, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms of service contained below. These Terms apply to the entire app and any communication between you and Local AI.

Under no circumstances shall Local AI be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the materials in this app, even if Local AI or an authorised representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

License

Local AI grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the app strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

On-Device AI and Acceptable Use

Local AI runs AI models directly on your device. You are responsible for how you use the App and any content you generate with it. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

On-Device Model Disclaimer

The AI models' responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes, and generation speed depends on your device. Output should not be relied upon as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any output before relying on it.

Model Downloads

On-device models are downloaded both from Local AI's in-house model servers and from third-party model hosts. Your use of those third-party models may be subject to the respective model and host licenses, which you agree to comply with.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local AI disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
